The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) has begun a large-scale SEEKERe deployment aboard surface warfare vesicles to improve explosive detection capabilities. As stated in the J&A: “This action will support the requirements set forth by Fleet Forces Command for a replacement Handheld Explosive Detector (HHED) for fielding to various class of US Navy ships.”
Contract number N0017418D0001 is for the purchase, and maintenance of SEEKERe EDK Hand Held Explosive Detection Kits (HHED), associated accessories and consumables, and implementation of Government approved Configuration management changes. The period of performance for this contract is FY18-FY22
Total contract value: $9,846,727.85
