You spoke - and we listened! DetectaChem has been travelling across the
country speaking with thousands of potential users to determine how best
to meet their trace
detection needs. The design of the
Seeker CDU™
220 handheld detection
system is a direct reflection of the feedback provided by our
customers. Whether from enforcement officers, explosives technicians,
military personnel, or first responders, DetectaChem has incorporated
the comments and user feedback to create a device that is both effective
and operationally relevant.
Our customer base overwhelmingly requested the capability
to detect
TATP and homemade explosives, an easy procedure for cleaning the
inside of the testing chamber, and simple training embedded into the
Seeker. Also topping the list of requests were optional GPS
modules and a smaller, more portable device.
We've incorporated all of these features, and many more, into the new
Seeker CDU™ 220 handheld trace detector. Please view our
Products page to get more detailed information on the new
Seeker CDU™
220. Or contact one of our company representatives directly
from our contact page.
DetectaChem was a co-sponsor of the Urban Shield training and
incident response contingency exercise in Alameda County, California.
This multi-disciplinary tactical exercise stretched across over
20 separate venues, and included the Seeker CDU™ 220 for explosive
detection response. More information is
