The Seeker XDU uses technology related to color reactions that have been commonly used in the field of molecular analysis in the sub-microgram range. This liquid chemistry based process, enables the Seeker to rapidly perform on-site diagnostic detection of explosive materials. The Seeker XDU can detect traces of military, as well as homemade explosives, by applying the common wet chemical Meisenheimer and Griess reagents.
